Tyres:
If you want the recommended tyre sizes your choice is restricted to Dunlop, which thankfully are pretty well liked. Some owners have fitted slightly larger Michelins, which are rated as "Fairly good". Other tyres, again over-sized, we know have been fitted to the 250R include Bridgestone BT45s and Avons - although with reference to the Avons the following comment was received "Never rated 'em".

Exhaust:
The genuine Kawasaki item lasts well on the little GPX, however when it does need replacing your friendly Kawasaki dealer will charge you £500+. Thankfully Predator do a 2-1 system, which "Sounds great, but you have to modify the silencer bracket to get it to fit". Plus, a couple of owners ran their bikes with Muzzy performance exhausts fitted, which were imported from the US.
