| Comments: |
Tyres: Metzeler ME33 and ME99s remain popular with the mid-sized, air-cooled GPz. Avon Roadrunners also received positive comment "Excellent in the dry…" and "…tyre grip is excellent", whilst Shinko's were praised for their performance in the dry.
Exhaust: The Motad 4-1 system looks to be marginally the most popular choice of replacement system although there were reports of riders having to slightly modify mounting brackets to get it to fit. Motad's N-eta system is another popular choice as is the Yoshimura "Sounds waaay better than stock, louder, but more low end oomph". The Harris system received mixed responses, whilst one respondee was over the moon with his custom built 4-1 stainless system "It cost £350, but is mental!"
Suspension: Contrary to popular belief the OE rear shock seems last well with one owner covering 50k miles on his, but when things get too bouncy there is always the option of getting it rebuilt |
